I have just finished watching “Sweet November” . Well , it was not really exact the one I like eventhough Charlize and Keanu were quite good . I also like this couple in Devil’s Advocate . Honestly , I don’t like the way girl acted in “Sweet November” . She seemed so selfish . Why did she think that she has the rights to come in someone’s life and destroy it ? And not all love story has a happy ending .
Her life might be sad , shown by the range of sickness and medicines . Perhaps the only thing we always remember in the movie is that Charlize always smiles from the beginning till the end . Her smile represents for the hope and belief in life which she really really loves and never wants to leave away . Absolutely ! Maybe she loves life with all her heart and she couldn’t realize that love sometimes becomes blind . As Charlize herself thought that she had the rights to look for and bring the happiness to someone , then leave away silently like a fairy in tale . Then it is her weird thought , like to be lived fully , heartedly within one month , did kill her as she met a man of November , and everything didn’t happened as her schedule . Perhaps Charlize didn’t realize true love suddenly knocked on her heart . Just one thing she knows that she was scared and really scared to let him see her pale look .
Finally , she decided to go away . She had a life completely similar to her plan . Just the end of the story about the man in November was not happened like what Charlize thought . She had gone and left the pain inside his heart . She didn’t make him happy at all after then . Would Charlize ever want it happen? Oh no , of course no because she is such a good girl and she always wants to help every one include Keanu . No one knows if she continued looking for the man of December , January , Febuary ….etc or November seemed the last month of her job .
But maybe the author of this story was really smart and clever by hiding the serective answer of this open ending of the story to all of us . Charlize was so weak at that time and maybe Nov was the last month , the last and most wonderful 30 days in Charlize’s life . Although Keanu is not the only man , he was the last man Charlize will remember forever until she closes her eyes and said good bye to this world .
What I don’t like in this movie is if it is true to definte “love” by tears , death and going away . How hard to think ! She chose to leave from her lover only just because of one wish that he would forget her one day and set up a new happy life later . Well , perhaps every one has their own decision . Maybe I am not the person who can do everything for my lover . I just want to love someone as much as he does . November is going on and on , but why isn’t it sweet like the title of the movie ? November , I was born . . .
